Don't Believe A Word The Media Says

I am getting sick and tired of hearing the media chirp about how the Liberal Party is in such disarray, I think they are completely lying and being dishonest about the real situation. The party is trying to heal old wounds and it seems to be working. I love these predictions about them saying Frank McKenna not running is a blow to the Liberal Party, that is total horseshit, McKenna not running is the best thing that could happen to the liberal party, it has been years since we have had a good policy discussion in the liberal party and it's what we need. I think people have to realize that we have vote for the next leader based on what's good for the party.

Unless Gerard Kennedy runs, my support is wide open for any leader, the next leader is going to have to capture my imagination, convince me that they can defeat Stephen Harper, convince me that they can garner support all across Canada, and does not have too many skeletons in there closet.

That said I can tell you what I'm looking for.

1) Someone who can appeal to all Canadians.
2) Someone who can slaughter Harper in a debate.
3) Someone who talks and sounds like a Prime minister.
4) Someone who has Charisma

Brian Pallister Wastes Taxpayer Money

Amazing, the sheer gall of the Conservatives to lecture us about wasting tax payer money and then we find out today that Brian Pallister who said he was originally going to commit to serving the residents of Portage-Lisgar, Manitoba has instead flat out lied about what he was doing, he has now decided to break his word and decide to look into a leadership race.

First of all, this is the second broken promise by the Conservatives before they have even taken office and been sworn in, the first occured when they promised in the Election Campaign to defend public health care and now they have essentially given Ralph Klein, the greenlight to go fuck up the public health system in Alberta.

Wonderful on Brian Pallister's part though, nice to know how much he cares about people, that in his riding if he goes along with his plan, that there will be another meaningless by-election where the tories will definitely win.

Take a Chill Pill, For the Love of God!

Alright, I know It shouldn't have to come to this but I am asking everyone in my party to please for the love of all that is holy, to take a chill pill and stop over-reacting.

I urge people to send letters to the national executive stating how we want a late date sometime in early 2007 so that we can set up some policy.

First off I want to dissect why the liberals lost this campaign.

1) The truth hurts, but we came off as arrogant, we cannot just expect Canadians to give us their votes, they need to be persuaded with policy and we just didn't have it.

2) Bad campaign management: I never want to see any of these people who ran this campaign back in the war room during the next election, they have shown that they just can't be trusted. I ask my fellow party members to consider why we would want to vote in Frank McKenna when he's going to bring back the old martin squad that blundered this election, I urge everyone to vote against McKenna we don't need the same failed leadership that occured under Martin.

3) Not enough over-sight: there is no reason why we should have somebody insulting parents by talking about beer and popcorn. I also want to ask in regards to that advertisement about the military, is who were the ad wizards that let that one get even on the website.

So I am asking that you give the Liberal Party all the time it needs to rebuild, we should not feel rushed by Stephen Harper and his agenda, we have to take our time, or it might mean we'll be sitting on the opposition benches for a long time.

I Found Michael Ignatieff!

Yes, I found out what Michael Ignatieff does for his dayjob.

Gerard Kennedy, Now More Then Ever

I had been leaning a few days ago towards endorsing Frank McKenna on this blog until I read The Dan Report suggesting Gerard Kennedy should be a serious leadership contestant.

I could not agree more, I can definitely say that Mr. Kennedy has won me over and should he run will get my endorsement.

Gerard Kennedy is the man we need as evidenced by The Dan Report's thorough analysis of this man.

Mr. Kennedy is young at a fresh 45, he is very charismatic and has singlehandedly changed the education system in Ontario, it is getting better because of him.

Having someone like him come from the outside of Ottawa will render Tory attacks with the sponsorship scandal useless.

He also ran a food bank which will be very appealing to the NDP constituency because they will definitely flock in groves to Kennedy.

He was born in the west as well, is bilingual and has experience.

This blog is proud to endorse Gerard Kennedy for leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.

This is not an endorsement of Neo-Con Values.

The people of canada have spoken, and rightfully so, we did lose the election I know, but I am glad that Canada can move on beyond the sponsorship scandal that occured, Canada won tonight, Thanks to the conservatives winning, Quebecers will not see federalism as corrupt. We as liberals can win back the trust of the electorate but we have to be fair and sincere and not arrogant.

But I would like to be happy for the new Liberals elected in the west; Blair Wilson, Sukh Dhaliwal, Gary Merasty and Tina Keeper will be great members of parliament.

We are happy to hear this and am glad. But my hope for Stephen Harper is to realize that this win is not an endorsement of neo conservative values it is an win based on anger about the Liberal Party of Canada.

What is the Calgary School?

Congratulations to Lawrence Martin of the Globe and Mail for mentioning the "Calgary School".

I did a little research myself on this collective group and found they have writings that center around five common themes. Members of the Calgary School include Stephen Harper, Tom Flanagan, Rainer Knopff, Barry Cooper, Ted Morton, and David Bercuson. All of them are known for their hard right views, taking a look at this article there were these themes that kept coming up

A revisionist reading of the aboriginal issue. Flanagan has been at the forefront of efforts to reconfigure the debate over Canada's first nations, beginning with a controversial reassessment of Louis Riel, the Métis leader who fomented rebellions on the prairies in 1869-70 and in 1885, and who was subsequently executed by Sir John A. Macdonald's Conservative government. Flanagan has himself been a consultant to the federal government in court cases dealing with land claims - something which, as Marci McDonald has pointed out, has insulated him from criticism by Paul Martin's Liberal government. The Calgarians would generally like to see the reserves re-categorized as municipalities with the power to tax their residents;

A general hostility to group rights. This holds obvious relevance for the aboriginal issue, but it also embraces the recognition of special status for Québec and affirmative action for women and visible minorities. At the same time, given their western orientation, they are far from averse to constitutional mechanisms, such as a reformed upper chamber, that might empower the country's periphery over against central Canada, that is, Ontario and Québec. Their model here is the Australian Senate which represents each state equally, irrespective of population. Thus, their distrust of group rights obviously does not extend to territorially defined groups, provided they are treated equally;

A generally libertarian policy toward economic markets and taxation, and a distrust of the welfare state. Here their preferred policy options are not so much conservative as classically liberal, with the classical liberal emphasis on maximizing individual liberty in the face of what they perceive to be an overweening state. The spectre of Adam Smith's famous invisible hand hovers in the background, moving the Calgarians to embrace policies that would diminish the share of the economy dominated by the public sector. This would entail lowering government expenditures and taxes alike, thereby putting more economic resources and the decisions concerning their use in the hands of individuals;

Free trade, especially with Canada's closest neighbour, the United States. This is a logical implication of the Calgarians' preference for free domestic markets. As McDonald has pointed out, their orientation is definitely in a north-south rather than east-west direction. That Flanagan and Morton are American-born is perhaps of some significance for understanding this orientation, which has broader cultural, intellectual, and military implications as well. Their generally pro-American posture brings the Calgarians the most criticism from professed "Red Tories," such as the intellectual heirs of the late George Parkin Grant, who claim to represent an older tradition of conservatism with deeper roots in this country; and

A hostility to the activism of the courts, which are imposing an agenda that could never meet with success if it required approval by an ordinary parliamentary majority. Under the current post-1982 régime, governments have an incentive to avoid making difficult political decisions, passing them to the courts to decide. Because the courts don't face the people at the polls, they have no difficulty in making such decisions, even if these decisions are more appropriately made by a representative body. That this empowering of the courts has come at the expense of our hallowed constitutional principle of responsible government is deeply offensive to the Calgarians.

It should come as no surprise that Harper was musing about "activist judges" yesterday, he sounds almost like a Bush clone in disguise, notice how he ends his speeches with "God Bless Canada", how he claims the Senate and the public service will stop him from implementing his agenda. If anyone truly believes that Mr. Harper has had a miraculous conversion, then he has already fooled you. Mr. Harper reminds me of a quote from the Usual Suspects. "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." We will see on monday whether it turns out that the Devil pulled that trick off.

Strategic Counsel: Biased Towards the Tories

The Tories do not have this election in the bag at all. All most every poll out there besides Strategic Counsel (which doesn't count undecided voters and probably goads a whole bunch of people into one group) is completely making this up as it goes along, Consider the fact that no poll has the Liberals at 24%, i mean today's SES said the Liberals were at 32% and the Decima poll had them at 28%, however, if you actually notice that there are a few biases in some polls. But lets take a look at SES' final poll from the 2004 election was and what the real result ended up being was

Liberals 34% (2% off)
Conservatives 30% (1% off)
NDP 20% (5% off)
BQ 12% (Accurate)
Green 4% (Accurate)

So in reality it could be argued that SES predicted it correctly except for the NDP swing which didn't occur until the last minute.

Also it should be noted that SES was the only pollster that caught the liberal upswing in Election 2004, something that everyone else was apparently baffled by the tory swing in the polls.

What Song Reminds Me of the Tories?

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same,
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And the people in the houses
All went to the university
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same
And there's doctors and lawyers
And business executives
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.

And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same,
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

Harper Lied About Cost of Platform

According to CTV News,
Paul Darby, deputy chief economist of the Conference Board of Canada, originally concluded that Stephen Harper's Conservative platform "is affordable in each fiscal year from 2005-2006 through 2010-2011."

However, it turns out the version of the platform Darby was given to vet didn't include a Conservative party health-care guarantee which states patients will be transported to another jurisdiction if they can't get timely care at home.

The Platform also omitted a Tory platform promise to redress the so-called "fiscal imbalance" between Ottawa and the provinces.

This just goes to show that Harper's entire campaign has been nothing but smoke and mirrors, Many tories like Ted Byfield suggested the way Harper is talking now is because he wants to get elected and he will not tell anyone the actual truth about what he wants to do.

I swear to God, I have a stern warning for anyone who votes Tory. That is that many years down the road you will regret marking an "X" next to the Conservative Candidate in your riding, if the Tories get into power and then proceed to screw up Canada like I predict, then do not come crying to me, I will only say "I told you so" and "we tried to warn you, but you thought you knew better."

Mark my words, Harper's Conservatives will be the most right-wing government ever to set foot in Canada. The Media has done nothing but spin stories in their favor the entire campaign and ignoring the real questions about what this man will do. We deserve to know, Canadians have the right to know and shame on the media for giving Harper a free ride. I'm just disgusted to see Canadians being dooped by such empty words from the Tories.

Where is Rondo?

According to the Toronto Star, Radical Extremist Rondo Thomas who is running in Ajax-Pickering against Mark Holland, didn't show up at an all-candidates debate.

His spin master Mike Young said "Nobody's hiding anything, he's eager to talk about it," he said Thomas was attending a funeral in eastern Ontario running away from his own record.

Wake up Canada! This is the kind of people you are going to elect in the Conservative party, you are being sucked in by false rhetoric, smoke and mirrors and empty promises.

It'll be a shame if people are so blind as to not consider the facts and elect a Tory government on January 23.

Tories Have Their Own Criminals!

According to a news report on CTV, Conservative Party Candidate Derek Zeisman who is running in British Columbia Southern Interior was arrested in July of 2004, Zeisman was crossing into British Columbia from the United States, when Canada Customs charged him with attempting to smuggle in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle and 112 containers of alcohol.

Zeisman is also accused of lying to Canada Customs about the incident.

So, if you thought the Tories were all innocent creatures, they definitely are not.

Harper is Finished

You may have just looked at my headline and think I must be a moron. But I tell you, Harper has hit his peak and that might be the scariest thing to anyone in Ontario. Look at the headlines in today's Toronto Star Right now the media is doing Martin's work for him, the news media is trying to scare voters by showing what everyone has feared a poll showing a Conservative Party near a majority government. Also, one might want to look at the new Liberal Party commercials that just attack Harper by using his own words against him. These ones will definitely show the truth about Mr. Harper's stands. If you look at the Washington Times ad, if there was one ad in my opinion that can damage Mr. Harper it is that Advertisement, it appear Mr. Martin is trying to use the Mulroney tactic that John Turner did in 1988, faced with Sagging momentum Mulroney ran hundreds of negative advertisements at Turner, the result? Mulroney won a majority Government. These ads cannot be dismissed as scare tactics, these ones actually will work and convince people that Stephen Harper's values are not their values.

Harper's Train Starting to Derail

The Liberal train was derailed a few days ago, it's now back up and running full speed ahead, two good announcements and Harper has already started to come undone, yesterday we learned that the Conservative Tax Plan features a let "them eat cake" proposal which will send more low-income seniors onto the tax rolls and will also put a big burden on lower-income families. Then we hear from the Right-Wing Toronto Sun that Harper is thinking that he's going to have a majority, this is exactly what started contributing to his downfall in the last election, while I don't think he'll make goofball mistakes like saying Paul Martin supports Child Pornography, he is starting to go down hill.

Say No To Bourque

Do you hate Pierre Bourque?, that little snot that does nothing but post anti-liberal articles on his website? Well here you go, here's two buttons that you can put on your blog to signify you oppose Pierre Bourque and his far-right news sources at the Toronto Sun.

Stephen Harper's Tax Plan: Let Them Eat Cake!

So according to the CBC the Tories are going to increase income taxes on lower-income canadians. This is the first big screw-up by the tories in this campaign.

This is the tory "hidden agenda" that we have precisely been trying to warn Canadians that this what they are going to do by not even bothering to think about what impact voting Conservative will do.

The Conservatives say a Stephen Harper government would raise the rate on the lowest tax bracket back from 15 per cent back to 16 per cent in their first budget, probably in April. As well, the basic exemption, income on which no tax is charged, would be dropped by $400 in the same budget.

Okay now correct me if i'm wrong but the basic exemption for 2006 will be $9,039 and if they are going reduced that then it will be $8,639 which will be even lower then the $8,648 for basic exemption in 2005.

In my opinion, it seems the tories are running on a "Let Them Eat Cake" plan, I would expect Jack Layton and Gilles Duceppe to probably say something negative about this plan.

Low-Income Canadians have no reason to vote for the Conservatives for that matter, I admit the Low-Income vote will split between the New Democrats and the Liberals outside of Quebec, The Low-Income vote will almost definitely go to the Bloc Quebecois.

I'd like to also point out I made an earlier post comparing Harper to Mike Harris, and I was right! Harper is nothing more then a Mike Harris clone, soon poor people will be seeing their welfare slashed by astounding rates if you vote this man in. You may say it's fear mongering but it's just the facts, if you don't believe me go right here and read what the Tories actually think of certain issues.

Also, I did manage to dig up a story on a Tory riding official that happened way back in 2004 “Ed Odishaw who was co-chairman of the Conservative party's election campaign in B.C. in 2004, was forced to resign following disclosure that the B.C. Law Society was investigating his conviction under the Income Tax Act when he invested in a company named Austpro Energy, of which the company report stated that Odishaw directly and indirectly owned 1,127,231 company shares; which last traded at two cents on November 11, 2003. It is no longer actively trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Pierre Bourque is Mean-Spirited

I am seriously getting sick of Pierre Bourque's disgusting kind of dirt-digging journalism, it's just purely dispicable and it's wrong. I ask every liberal to don't believe a word coming out of the Mainstream media, they are doing nothing but hurting our morale.

I am asking you to not panic. We will win this campaign, the tories are trying to hurt us by throwing out these pathetic allegations because they have nothing better to do then to attack honest, decent people. It's just not right and it's wrong what they are doing to people.

The News Media is on my watch and I think all of you guys are really a bunch of jackasses. Excuse my french, I think I should at least be able to vent my frustration. Martin needs to get this off his chest and he's got to say that this happened 10 years ago when the separatists tried to destroy our country.

Mike Harris=Stephen Harper

I know the tories, just hate it when the Liberals mention the word Mike Harris, but I'm sure you might all remember the Common Sense Revolution

I've decided to actually delve into research and explain why I think Mike Harris and Stephen Harper are the exact same-person. Let me take a few planks from the 1995 Ontario Tory Platform and then I'll leave rest up for you to decide

By ending the NDP's efforts to nationalize all child care operations, we will open more options for parents to choose the kind of care they want for their children. This will encourage more centres to open, allowing more single parents to find the daycare spaces they need while working.

Hmm does that sound familiar to a certain person's plan, doesn't it sound like Mr. Harper's plan a lot minus the $25-a-week handout? Let me show you what the Outline stated on Mr. Harris' plan.

The people of Ontario have a message for their politicians -- government isn't working anymore. The system is broken. You sent that message when you handed the provincial government its dramatic defeat in 1990. You sent it in the referendum campaign in 1992. You sent it in the federal election. And yet, no one seems to be listening.

Again, this sounds nearly similar to the exact message the Conservative Party of Canada is carrying out, I mean you just can't dispute this almost mirrors Mr. Harris' policy. Here's the Harris policy on Crown Corporations.

We will sell off some assets, such as the LCBO and surplus government land, to the private sector. We will actively explore the sale of other assets, including TV Ontario. History has shown that the private sector can use such assets more efficiently and provide better service to the public.

On the CBC website the Tory platform is quoted as saying "Privatize crown corporations that compete with comparable private services".

And the Harris Plan on Subsidies?

We will cut business subsidies and reduce government grants for total savings of $200 million. With increased economic activity, fewer subsidies to business will be necessary.

Stephen Harper has the exact same plan according to the CBC

Reduce subsidies to for-profit businesses.

So I have indeed shown there are similarities to Mr. Harper and Mr. Harris' plans, so you may dispute if these things work, but make no mistake. One should only look at the exact similarity in policies between this too.

Let me also mention the Tories are running the following Harrisites in this election.

*John Baird
*Tony Clement
*Carl DeFaria
*Jim Flaherty
*Raminder Gill
*David Tilson
*Terence Young

In the previous election the tories ran these Harrisites

*Marcel Beaubien
*Tony Clement
*Barbara Fisher
*Doug Galt
*Raminder Gill
*David Johnson
*David Tilson
*David Turnbull

Don't believe the Ekos Poll

Remember my first post ever at this blog way back in April when Ekos released a poll that had the tories up?

You might not have but I'm going to link to it to refresh your memory. I do agree that this poll does show the Tories ahead as I expect, but the only polling companies I trust are SES Research, Ipsos-Reid and the Strategic Counsel. All Three of those polls say the Liberals and Tories are statistically tied.

However, I think it is by far the worst thing when the conservatives lead in the polls and I say this for a reason. It hurts the tories when they physically lead in the polls because it starts setting in a psychological message to people in Canada. Like I said, remember the Decima Poll that says the Dippers will flock to the Liberals if only a tory victory seems imminent, and it appears that is exactly what is going on. However, I am endorsing the following NDP Candidates in the following ridings because I believe it is better to have them then have a conservative.

Please if you live in these ridings vote for the NDP, I may not like them as much as the Liberals but I honestly don't want to take the chance and elect a tory.

*British Columbia Southern Interior-Alex Atamanenko
*Edmonton Strathcona-Linda Duncan
*Nanaimo Alberni-Manjeet Uppal
*New Westminster Coquitlam-Dawn Black
*Oshawa-Sid Ryan
*Palliser-Jo-Anne Dusel
*Regina Qu'Appelle-Lorne Nystrom
*Selkirk Interlake-Ed Schreyer
*Vancouver Island North-Catherine Bell

Vote Liberal in these ridings to prevent a tory from being elected

*Chatham Kent Essex-James Comiskey
*Edmonton Centre-Anne McClellan
*Glengarry Prescott Russell-Rene Berthiaume
*Halton-Gary Carr (I know Gary voted against Same-Sex Marriage, but he did it because he had a lot of people personally against it, I honestly don't believe Gary Carr is a gay-hater though)
*Lambton-Kent-Middlesex-Jeff Wesley
*Oakville-Bonnie Brown

As for the Following Make up your own mind

Beaches-East York
Burnaby-Douglas
Burnaby-New Westminster
Churchill
Hamilton East-Stoney Creek
Hamilton Mountain
London-Fanshawe
Newton-North Delta
Trinity-Spadina
Vancouver Centre
Vancouver Kingsway
Victoria

These are just a small sample of what I believe, I know many New Democrats won't do this but I ask you in some areas there are progressive liberals, we are not are neo-con right-wingers that sometimes you accuse us of being. I believe the NDP has a large role to play in a minority parliament. So I ask you do you want a Tory Government that won't even bother listening to your concerns. Let's be serious you need a Liberal Government with More NDP MP's in their to support good Government. Jack Layton obviously got your results. I admit sometimes the Liberals do forget their promises and Layton thankfully held them to it. So I ask you help us form a strong minority government.

My Letter Was Read On CPAC

I sent an email into Peter Van Dusen at Primetime Politics last night and it was read on the air! See the video here

You can catch my email at approximately 44:26

Touched by a New Brunswicker

Thank you to my pal Mark Watton at nottawa for directing to me about this story on that lovely lady Elsie Wayne.

Ms. Wayne is a well-known individual in Canada, she's known by many people outside of her own province, mostly the reason she's known is because she's unfortunately part of the biggest dubious distinction, which was the fact she was one of the two Tories elected (the other of course is Current Quebec Premier Jean Charest) under the Progressive Conservative Party meltdown in 1993.

Elsie was also unargueably one of the most right-wing MP's in the otherwise moderate Progressive Conservative Caucus throughout 1993 until 2004 when she retired.

Ms. Wayne today, appeared on CTV's Mike Duffy Live preaching against same-sex marriage and how this decision will be reversed now that the polls are showing what unfrotunately looks like a Conservative government. However what happened is that Ms. Wayne went a step further and declared "You do not take the word of God, that is in the bible, and change it."

Ms. Wayne is dead wrong, I challenge anyone to show me a bible verse that says Marriage is between a man and a woman, don't give me the Leviticus, man that lies with woman verse. I want to see a verse that says this ceremony is between a man and a woman.

I'd like to share Ms. Wayne's other enlightenments about same-sex marriage which in my opinion is what she probably based her entire political career on.

First she most famously is quoted saying that

"When it comes to people who wish to live together, whether they are women or men, why do they have to be out here in the public always debating that they want to call it marriage? If they are going to live together, they can go live together and shut up about it."

She also chided the fact that Ralph Klein had the courage to drop his constitutional challenge to Same-Sex Marriage.

"They probably should have used the notwithstanding clause as Ralph Klein has said he will do, but they're not doing that at this time and definitely we had hoped, the majority of the people had hoped, that they would appeal the decision on Ontario, but they haven't done that either."

I would like to state I am not anti-christian, sometimes it may seem that way, but this is the main reason why I will not vote for the Conservative Party. I am strongly supportive of Homosexual rights and I cannot and will not vote for a party that seems to want to take away that right.

Let me also say that there are other issues I care about such as Education and Health Care, but I'd like to say that in regards about how I feel about those issues, in terms of my current status, I believe that Our family is doing very good since the party is in power. We pay our fair share of tax, granted we want some our money back, but I am not paying tax, I have my education being payed by my parents. I will admit that I am well off. I see no reason to change parties in my opinion, I also believe that the corruption is a big issue, but, I will say that the reason I mostly support the Liberals is because I read everything that Mr. Harper has said and when I hear what he says I get physically frightened from what I read.

I think that I vote based on the way I was brought up, I was told to respect other people regardless of their sex or gender, I admit I've said some not so nice things about other parties and I regret doing that, I admit that it's been a difficult race, I'm not worried. I believe that my party has a vision where they want to take this country.

I'd also like to say that people who have a negative perception of the Liberals, should do some research about the claims that the New Democrats and Conservatives are throwing out there. I admit that there have been broken promises by the Liberals, but you honestly cannot believe every promise that comes out of a politician's mouth, and I admit that. But, I am voting Liberal because of Social Issues, I ask that you respect my decision for the reasons I have given you.

I'd like to explain why sometimes I seem overtly negative about the Tories, I have autism, ADHD and Asperger's syndrome. I'm extremely over-anxious and sometimes I admit I say things I don't like to say and it comes out wrong. I admit I feel a little desperate and sad right now that my party is behind but I will not give up, I am going to be canvassing tomorrow for my candidate and I look forward to meeting people.

Just to prove all Liberals aren't bad, I want you to know I returned a girls purse today to her and did the right thing. Not once, did I think about taking money from that purse, I made sure she got her purse back. For, that I feel I have done my good deed for the day.

Kinsella Stupidity, The Tories love "Buzz" Words and Photshop Phun

Something bizarre strikes me over at Kinsella and friends, Warren has decided to play dumb and claim he has a sixth sense which blinds him from seeing the fact there are Negative Tory Advertisements that are airing, if he doesn't believe me let me direct him to the Conservative Web Site so that he can actually see them for himself!

Warren, I don't even consider you a member of the Liberal Party anymore, you did send a useless check to Edwin Laryea of the New Democratic Party which try as you might is not going to defeat Andrew Telegdi, because let's face it that's a safe liberal seat my friend. You and Sheila Copps are dead weight in the Liberal Party, I once had respect for Sheila Copps and felt sorry for what the Liberals did to her in her own riding, but you know what?

I've lost all sympathy for her, she is just another sore loser who has decided to write extremely negative columns about Paul Martin, I don't believe a word the woman writes at all, in fact the lies you guys have pushed about the Clarity Act and Mr. Martin are astounding.

Now moving on to the Conservative Party, these guys love any type of Buzz-word they can sink their teeth into, in fact that's what their entire campaign has been Buzz-words and Jingoism. How many times have these words been uttered?

* Corruption, Liberal Corruption, Corrupt Liberal Goverment, etc.
* Culture of Entitlement
* Stand Up For Canada

Many, many times they have been uttered. My problem is that the Tory Campaign has been all style and no substance, It's been nothing but photo-ops including the rediculous photo-op of him next to a case of money and an empty red folder.

My biggest problem with the Tories is that their attacks on corruption are getting old, What the tories fail to mention is Mr. Martin and his entire cabinet was exonerated, end of fricking story, Don't give me any of this bullshit about If he was a senior quebec minister, if he was finance minister, if he was whatever damn minister he was. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT! The truth is simple, PAUL MARTIN WAS EXONERATED WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT! So, I don't want to hear any ifs, ands or buts about this particular part. The tories for the past year have lied and mislead canadians about the truth of the sponsorship scandal. For an entire year members of your caucus threw barbs at the Government without even bothering wanting to read Justice Gomery's entire report. Then when the report came out you guys distorted and spun the report to satisfy your own partisan needs. You guys are freaking Witch Hunters and you don't deserve my vote, I will never vote for a bunch of lying slanderous people like the Conservative Party is full of. You guys for the past year have continued to harp on scandals that turned out not to be scandals.

You witchunted David Dingwall only to find out that it was YOUR PARTY THAT WASTED TAX PAYER MONEY conducting a frugal investigation and finding out that in fact Mr. Dingwall spent 99.64% of his personal expense account properly. Let us not forget it was your clarivoyant psychics that tried to defame Judy Sgro only to find out later that she was innocent. You guys are a bunch of paranoid delusional nutbars who lie, smear and defame people when you don't get the result you want.

Don't even harp on me about people not having gone to jail in the sponsorship scandal. DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE LEGAL SYSTEM WORKS MY FRIEND? Do You Understand that people have to go through a trial process? This is not some fantasy island where you can just send people to jail without a public trial. You guys are like the crowd of people that burns people at the stake before getting the facts.

This is exactly what you are doing with Ralph Goodale, and I'm sick to death of you tories destroying the reputations of people before being handed the facts!

Anyway after that long-winded rant. I've decided to attach for my loyal readers some of my photoshop work for people to enjoy.

I encourage everyone to send me any photoshop pictures and I will post them in a weekly blog post.

Judy Wasylycia-Leis Started the RCMP Investigation

Remember Judy Wasylycia-Leis? You might remember she's the New Democratic Party's finance critic.

I reported on her fake outrage earlier in the day where she whined and moaned that the Prime Minister refused to even mention the NDP in his speech. I'd like to point out this woman is a partisan fanatic who will do anything to score political points anytime.

She was technically the first one to know of the RCMP investigation, she had the choice between exposing it publically and hurting the Liberals or keeping this out of the public domain.

While I will admit that Ralph Goodale could have avoided this embarrassment by simply letting the RCMP investigate. I am in no way suggesting Ms Wasylycia-Leis did anything wrong by demanding an investigation, what I am saying is that she had the choice to show we was not a petty politician by keeping her mouth shut and not doing something politically convenient for the opposition parties.

However, I think the biggest error of Ms. Wasylycia-Leis is showing that her party leader has an enormous ego that just screams "What About Me?"

If this is the only thing Mr. Layton has in terms of policy, then I'm very very sorry for him.

Jack Layton, Canada's Original Primadonna

I was watching Jack Layton today talking about how he is offended that Paul Martin says Canadians have a choice between the Liberals and the Conservatives. I'll give him that point, I do believe Mr. Layton does have a good party, it's heart is in the right place. But, I admit I would consider voting for them.

The problem is Jack Layton operates like a slick used car salesman, Jack Layton is right about the Conservatives being out of touch with Canadians, which they are, I figure if you look at the polls all most 70% of Canadians do not support right-wing conservatism.

When I meant Jack Layton looks like a slick used car salesman, I need to be a little more specific examples. Let me give you this example by Jumpin Jack Flash.

Who can forget this infamous sales pitch that Salesman Jack put up for Canadians? Where he said in Canada, you should be able to get your health care based on whether you have a health card and not a credit card. Of course I agree that a Private System would be wrong for all Canadians, my idea is to follow the Swedish Model of Public Health Care (Correct me, if I am wrong but I do believe that the Swedish Health Care Model is the best in the world). Still, I will say that it's better to have Health Care in Canada rather then have it in the United States. I will say though that Health Care must stay publicly funded.

But, the point I'm trying to make is that Jack Layton sounds like a walking TV Commerical, if you need any more proof look at the last leaders' debate where he continuously threw in that pitch of "electing more New Democrat MPs."

It's quite funny when you have Judy Wasylycia-Leis, your finance critic whining about how the NDP didn't get a mention in Paul Martin's speech. I find it hilarious actually, that this woman actually complained about not getting bashed by the Prime Minister. A funny picture comes into my head of this woman just begging to be personally attacked by the Prime Minister of Canada.

And I guess that picture was just reproduced by yours truly. You'll be hearing from me later tonight when we get a poll and we see what else is new.

Thank You For Being a Friend, Stephen Harper

Thank you Stephen Harper, for being a friend. You and your negative ads are truly the greatest help to us. I could just kiss your feet, your the greatest God in the known Universe. Words cannot describe how much I could just kiss you right now for handing us the greatest gift of Hyprocrisy.

Oh Stephen, did you not run an ad telling us that the Liberal Party was going to be running a negative campaign? Did you not run these advertisements and claim that the Liberal party was going to lie and distort your record? Well, Stephen my sad little friend, you've been too busy reading your crystal ball and not seeing what you did.

In fact, my dear Mr. Harper, you have indeed shown the gigantic hypocrisy, in fact the Liberals have gone positive my sweet little man child, contrary to your astounding predictions.

Stephen lets just analyze your ad my little friend, it reeks of desperation, sugar. Stevie you just are so desperate for power, my little darling, that you will say anything and do anything to hold that office of the Prime Minister. Stephen you are a true friend to everyone in the Liberal Party.

Stevie my friend, take a look at your overtly-negative first advertisement. My God, Stephen. The Emperor has no clothes, he is naked, he has been exposed as the fraud he is. First, you try and goad the Canadian people into believing that it's those evil, corrupt, godless Liberals that are going to run a negative campaign. Yet here you are with another pathetic attack ad.

Baby, I just love you so much for your tom-foolery I could give you a kiss, but why would I even do such a thing, after all Stephen you are a closet gay-hater aren't ya sugar?
