Why Harper is wrong to stand with Israel

Don't get me wrong I know that Stephen Harper obviously pretty much does support Israel and I'm not saying its wrong to stand with Israel, obviously it is less controversial to stand with Israel then any other middle eastern countries. Here is the point I'm trying to get at. I'm not Anti-Semetic. I used to be what some would consider a very strong friend of Israel and pretty much believed that they were better then everyone else in the middle east.

Let me tell you the real reason why terrorists kill people, its not because they hate our freedom, its not because of that at all. The reason terrorists kill is because of the United States of America overwhelming one sided support of Israel. What I am trying to say is that having a bias of Israel is not good if you want to try and maintain middle east peace. I'm saying that Mr. Harper and the United States must take into consideration what other countries think and not just support Israel every single time in a war.

Most of the time you hear from Arab countries that the reason they are angry at the United States is because they accuse all of them as being a bunch of Zionists. Which in many ways I think that kind of support might be. I'm just trying to say that If you want a peace agreement you have to understand that Israel is no angel. Israel is just as bad as Palestine and Lebanon. So they are all at fault for starting this conflict.

i don't want to sound on-nice so i just say that in many things you are pass wrong information. there is a myth that this conflict started in israel's independence war, and it based on the israelis territories that occupted in 1967. this conflict started in august 1929, and i will let you find what happened far there.

This is the most shallow foolish post I have ever read.

terrorists hate the United States because of its support for Israel. So the US and Canada should stop supporting Israel.

Are you fucking nuts?!!!!

So... your point is that we should not support Israel, even if it's the right thing to do, because it'll make their enemies mad? If you support Hamas and Hezpollah it'll make Israel mad. If you stay quiet it makes both sides mad, and we'll accomplish nothing in the conflict as other countries are involved already.

There are many arguments against a firm stance. A neutral stance allows us to help negotiate a ceasefire. Both sides are wrong to varying degrees and should admit their mistakes before any negotiation is possible. Both sides have been wronged and feel justified in their actions, so both are equally valid. Right and wrong do not matter at this point, as those arguments only interfere with peaceful resolution of the situation.

Pick a point. Write a post about it. Then I'll come back and disagree with you.

Maybe we shouldn't have supported Britain and France in World War II because it would have angered Hitler. What garbage!
